Social Skills Art Therapy Group (6 and up) Use art to improve relationships, boost self-esteem, and expresses yourself.
This art therapy group help kids by using art to encourage children to expressive themselves appropriately and build self-esteem and social skills. The groups are success-oriented, and engage children in the processes that promote problem-solving skills, coping strategies, and support! At the Gap School, 5989 Approach Road, Sarasota. Holiday Art Camp (6 to 11) Parents take the morning off to shop for those last minute holiday gifts while your children safely enjoy fun and creative activities. We’ll be making holiday gifts, creating art, having a scavenger hunt in Towles Court and playing at Laurel Street Park, for a creative fun filled morning. This camp is purely for fun- children of all abilities are welcome. Please wear appropriate indoor/outdoor clothes that can get messy with art materials. At the Creativity Center, 1911 Morrill Street, Sarasota. Pre-registration is a must, this camp fills quickly! Register using link below.

A 12-week program for children and teens using art to experiment with new ways of acting, thinking, and feeling. Creative Kids: Creative Solutions uses art, building, and creative play to encourage children to developing healthier ways to communicate their thoughts and build relationships, explore choices to encourage proactive conflict resolution, create new ways to overcome frustration and inflexibility, and to tap into their own abilities to solve problems and develop lifelong skills for success.
